Behind the doors of The Arts Club Dubai

Dubai is well-renowned for luxury dining hotspots, and when guests are spoilt for choice, they’re usually hard to impress. But, now and again something arrives to inspire even the most discerning patrons, and that’s certainly true of The Arts Club. Located across four floors in DIFC’s ICD Brookfield Place, the private member’s Club is the first international outpost for the historic brand since it was founded in London by Charles Dickens and friends in 1863.

Developed to create a like-minded community of diverse individuals, it’s an elegant sanctuary for entrepreneurs and creatives; a place to convene, collaborate, dine and unwind, where quality and service are second to none. Testament to its name, the Club also boasts an inspiring cultural programme, featuring art, music and events. Think debates, tastings, talks, exhibitions, workshops, and more all curated to reflect the seasons and appeal to the global elite.

Design inspiration

The interiors have been designed by Dimorestudio, a design firm from Milan, evoking a rich and sophisticated colour palette expressed with strong textures and playful patterns. Past and present combine through a unique collection of art-deco and historical pieces of furniture and lighting, complemented by contemporary comforts and rich fabrics.

Decadent dining

There are three restaurants, including the Club’s London concept Brasserie, which captures the decadence of Europe’s grandest dining rooms and serves up a menu of classic favourites. Alveare is a refined Italian-inspired eatery exploring some of Italy’s long-lost regional dishes from the 60s and 70s, while home-grown concept Rōhen celebrates the distinctive flavours of Japan. And there is no shortage of places to imbibe, thanks to seven craft cocktail bars. On the 23,000 square-foot rooftop, you’ll find a late night lounge and cigar lounge.

In his interview with identity magazine, The Arts Club Dubai CEO Ajaz Sheikh explained: “We have brought The Arts Club to Dubai to complement the dynamic, diverse and creative landscape that is flourishing here.” Indeed, it promises to be an impressive addition to the city’s luxury lifestyle scene and further proof of the emirate’s status among international entities looking for the right place to expand.
